Stephanie Lareau

Year in Medical School: 3rd

Place of Birth: Charlotte, NC

Where you grew up:
Charlotte, NC

College Attended: University of South Carolina

Major in College: Chemical Engineering

Goals: Not to lose perspective on where I fit in the bigger picture as well as my reasons for becoming a doctor.

Personal Philosophy on life and/or medicine: Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.
– Ralph Waldo Emerson

Favorite Quote: Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever.
– Lance Armstrong
